Question #1: Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: Absolutely not. He's not doing anything good for the State of California. He seems to be on an ego trip to be Governor instead of helping out the state. He seems to be two-faced. His actions blow with the wind. He attacked workers in the special election. Now he's for us. He can't be trusted.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I think the town hall was interesting. We learned a lot, but we still need to do research. It helps us form questions. It's nice to deal with fellow union members and discuss the issues. |

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No. My feeling is that the Governor is a dictator. He doesn’t want to listen to working people. When he was running for his office, he said he was for the people. Since being elected, he has called unions evil in public broadcast. This is contradictory.
Question #2: What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I love the town hall process. It is a real opportunity to get the feel of their true essence. It gives one more insight to who the candidates are.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No, of course not. He trashed California with his special election. He wasted money on what we didn’t need or want. He has done everything in his power to hurt working people and he has repeatedly tried to destroy our pensions. I think he will go after them again.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I like being a part of the process on who SEIU will endorse for the next Governor. I wish that members had been part of the process in evaluating Proposition 73 which I strongly opposed. SEIU should have opposed it instead of being neutral. Over half our members are women.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No. He doesn’t believe illegal aliens should be citizens. That is hypocritical. He was an immigrant and there were issues about his own paperwork. His propositions were wrong and they attacked working people. No one should vote for Arnold, he is not a working person’s friend.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: The town hall is a good idea and service workers get to evaluate our next possible governor.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No, absolutely not. We need to elect a new Governor. He is trying to destroy our pension plan that we have worked for 30, 40 years. The special election was totally unnecessary. The money wasted could have been used for health and welfare programs or the schools.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I think the Town Hall will give us the ability to really evaluate the candidates for Governor and get beyond they advertising.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No, because he doesn’t care about people with disabilities or seniors. He tried to cut homecare. He tried to cut nursing staff ratios which would have affected the care my disabled son receives. I don’t like being lied to.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I loved the town hall meeting. It is very informative. It helped make up my mind on who I should vote for. Phil Angelides will be there for my disabled son and me.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: No, Proposition 75 was designed to take labor’s political voice away. That’s a hard offense to forgive. He has changed his mind on a lot of issues and he does what is politically expedient. I don’t trust him.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I’ll be able to find out more about Westly. I’m undecided between Angelides and Westly. I wish the Democratic party has better candidates. It astounds me that polls say a majority want single payer health system and an increase in the minimum wage which I support. The Governor has opposed this and now is only around to the minimum wage for the election. He vetoed the import of prescription drugs from Canada.

Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
Answer: I think the more transparency the better. Transparency will shed the light of day on the issues.

Question #1 Do you think Governor Schwarzenegger should be re-elected?
Answer: Thumbs down to re-electing the Governor. He should have stayed with acting. He has no business being Governor. He’s a true terminator. He tried to terminate homecare benefits. We need to send him back to Hollywood.
Question #2 What do you think about the SEIU Town Hall endorsement process?
I am more educated about the process. I am a Democrat, but I am naive about politics. Now, I know why it is important to vote.
